I hold a Bachelor of Science in Product and Technology Development and a Master of Public Health from the Medical University of Vienna. My professional journey began in the clinical environment of Vienna General Hospital (AKH Wien), and has since evolved into a cross-disciplinary exploration of systemic complexity in public health and decision-making under uncertainty.
Driven by a strong research curiosity, I have undertaken numerous study and field trips – including internships in Ghana and Togo focusing on infection prevention, and extended research travel throughout East Africa (Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Zanzibar). These experiences deepened my understanding of global health dynamics, social resilience, and the structural contrasts between lived realities.
Beyond science, I am a passionate photographer with a particular love for portraiture, studio work, and travel documentary – primarily in black and white. I work analog, develop my own negatives, and see photography as both a meditative and investigative process: a way to frame the unspoken, much like in systems research.
In the long run, I aim to pursue a PhD in system science. My academic interests lie at the intersection of complex systems, game theory, economics, philosophy, and the logic of uncertain reasoning. I believe that meaningful models must not only interpret the world, but also acknowledge the limits of perspective – and begin precisely there.
